How do I create and view Work Orders?

Learn how to create a Work Order and begin tracking items for your shop.

Work Orders are where all your information on the work inside your shop is kept. You can easily see everything your technicians are working or have worked on.

All active work orders are displayed in cards on the Work Orders page. Each card displays the Work Order Name, Work Order status (Pending, In Progress, On Hold, Completed), Customer and Vehicle information, PartsTech Quote status and total prices. Additionally, if you assign technicians to a Work Order Job, you can view who is assigned to each Work Order from this central view.

Create new Work Order

To create a new Work Order for your shop, from the Work Order page that displays all your active work orders, click on “New Work Order” at the top right of that page. This will open the New Work Order sidebar.

Enter information that will help you identify the work being done. You will add additional details from inside the actual work order.

When you are finished, click on “Create Work Order” and the newly created work order will appear on your list of Work Orders.

To interact with any Work Order, click on the card. This will open the Work Order to make any changes you need.
