Unperformed recommendations and declined repair estimates are a hidden goldmine for any independent auto repair shop. The challenge has always been tracking them down without spending hours sorting through old paper invoices or clunky database archives.

Shop Radar changes that. It acts as an interactive sales pipeline built right into your counter workspace, automatically pulling forward vehicles with documented, deferred work. From a single slide-out panel, your staff can review a vehicle's history, follow a tailored customer script, check live bay availability, log phone notes, and update job outcomes in real time.

Here is how to leverage Shop Radar to drive lost revenue straight back into your service bays.

🗺️ Understanding the Shop Radar Dashboard

When you navigate to the Shop Radar tab in your sidebar, you are looking at an active ledger of your shop's open revenue opportunities.

The dashboard layout is broken into three main areas:

  • The Filter Bar (Top): Quickly filter your view by a specific Status (Pending, Won, Lost) or isolate a specific Reason Code (such as Deferred or Follow Up). You can also set a custom date range to focus on opportunities from the last week, month, or quarter.
  • The Opportunity Grid (Left): This table displays the critical metrics for each lead at a glance—including the Customer Name, the vehicle details, the specific reason the job wasn't completed, the date of their last visit, and the Potential Value of the declined ticket.
  • The Interactive Control Panel (Right): Clicking the Talk Track button on any customer row instantly slides open a powerful workspace on the right side of your screen. This sidebar keeps all your scheduling and customer management tools in one place so you never have to click away from the page.
