CARFAX Integration

Bay Boss’s integration with CARFAX allows you to quickly search a vehicle by license plate decode to view its service history. This powerful feature can help you understand what's been done to the vehicle, what's been recalled, and what services you can sell to your customer.

Click on the Settings Tab, then on the Integrations tab from the left menu.

Select CARFAX and click on the Enable button.

Select the checkbox to accept the CARFAX Terms of Service. Select Accept & Enable to activate CARFAX in your shop.

CARFAX will now be enabled in your shop.

When you add a vehicle to your shop with the CARFAX integration activated, you can use the vehicle’s license plate in addition to VIN or Year/Make/Model.

Activating CARFAX in your shop allows for sharing vehicle service history. To view a linked vehicle's service history from within an estimate or Work Order, select the vehicle button to the right-side of the vehicle, and select View Existing Vehicles.

This will open the CARFAX history report for this vehicle.
