Bay Boss allows you to customize the way taxes are calculated for the services your shop sells.
To adjust your tax settings, go to Settings (requires Shop Owner permissions).
Scroll down to the Tax Settings section.
- Tax Rate: Set the tax rate percentage you want to apply to Work Order totals. This will only apply to Customer’s whose “Is Tax Exempt” is set to “No”.
- Tax Parts Only: If you want to tax Parts, set this to Yes. Selecting No will ignore tax on Parts.
- Tax Labor Also: If you want to tax Labor also, set this to Yes. Selecting No will ignore tax on Labor.
- Tax Fees: If you want to tax Fees, set this to Yes. Selecting No will ignore tax on Fees.
