Setting up Bay Boss

Welcome to Bay Boss! Setting up your shop is simple and this guide will help you get started servicing customers.

Bay Boss was designed to be intuitive and easy to use for Shop Owners and their team to manage their business. After your account is created, the next place to start is the Settings page. This is where you configure a lot of the behind the scenes rules/options that your shop will use.

Note: A feature of Bay Boss is that many pages save the data you enter automatically. There are not a lot of โ€œSaveโ€ buttons. Anything destructive (like deleting a work order) require a button, but we try not to make you have to hit save too often.

Settings

The settings page is only available to users with the Shop Owner (the person who is paying for Bay Boss) role. Itโ€™s compromised of several tabs, each allowing you to configure different pieces of the application.

Shop Profile

The Shop Profile allows you to edit/enter your shop information like Address, website, phone number, email and Logo. These appear on your invoices, emails and any correspondence from your shopโ€™s Bay Boss instance.
