Pricing Matrices
Pricing matrices can be used to automatically adjust your part's retail price based off of a multiplier of Cost. You can have multiple pricing matrixes for different types of parts (example: Tires) with different markup amounts. Each part can have a matrix applied.

Create new Pricing Matrix - To create a new Pricing Matrix, click the โNew Matrixโ button at the top right of the screen. This allows you to give your new matrix a name. Choose a name that will make sense to your users when they are adding or selecting this to a part. Youโll add all the details in the next step.
Edit Pricing Matrix - Once you have created a Pricing Matrix, it will appear in the table on the bottom of the page. To edit that matrix, click on the 3 dots to the right of the name. This will open the matrix editor. This will be blank if you are just creating a new matrix. To start configuring your matrix, click on โAdd Rangeโ. This will create a new row where you can enter a Cost, Markup and the Margin will be automatically calculated for you.
AI Assist - The purple AI Assist button can be used to provide additional insight when creating items to see competitive rates for various items (Labor, Pricing Matrices and Fees) for your shop type and location.

PartsTech Pricing - If you are using the PartsTech integration, you have the option of using Retail Pricing from PartsTech or using your own Pricing Matrix. If you select one of your own Matrixes, the Markup associated with each parts cost will be automatically applied when you add the part from PartsTech into any job on your Work Order. Cost and Retail are tracked separately in Bay Boss so your profit margin reports will be accurate.
